OCTO

Octo-1-wh-box-detailocto-12-wh-int-abstr-bA study of order and disorder, nature and number. Inspired by the landscape of the Hérault in Southern France and realised in the Book Arts studios of the village of Octon.Hand-written text, taken, with permission, from The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera.

Double-spined, quarter leather bound. Hand-painted and embroidered cover front and back with pine-cone & artichoke motifs. Sequences of concertina pages with red octagonal interleaves.

Four unique examples, plus a unique maquette.  No. 2  is available for sale.
