I've recently completed a new series of over thirty 'hand' paintings (oil on gesso on board) to mark my 40th birthday. The images take up themes of previous artist books (e.g. 'Richard of York') and represent an explorationion of colour and paint as well as a meditation on world womens' issues: to my regret my mother couldn't celebrate my birthday with me, having died in a still unexplained accident before she reached the equilavent mile-stone.

I plan to exhibit the series in 2009, the venue to be arranged.
